EPDM FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Please read fitting instructions carefully before attempting to fit EPDM.

Make sure all surfaces upon which the seal is to be fixed are clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease and flaking paint. If necessary rub down surfaces with white spirit and dry off thoroughly.

The seal in this pack is ‘dual rolled’ to minimise packaging. Before fitting, separate the double coil along the entire length. Take a single section of the seal, and peel off around 150mm of backing paper to expose the adhesive. Working from the top on one side of the frame of the door or window, adhere the seal so that it can be compressed by closing action.

Working downwards, continue to remove the backing paper and smooth down to ensure seal is properly affixed. Cut to exact length using scissors. Repeat this operation for the other vertical side[s], and horizontal section[s].
