MARK II AND MARK III
- First make sure that there is one cable still attached and that there is still tension on the spring.
- You then pull on the existing cable until the holes which are in the centre drum, line up with the holes in the outer casing. Put a 6" nail straight through the holes, this will lock the tension to enable you to fit a new cable.
- Take the cable, loop first, thread it over the corner small pulley, down the back of the link arm, inside the track, undo the bottom screw of the track, place loop end of the cable over the nylon wheel and onto the spindle. Replace the screw in the track.
- Take the other end of the cable and place it around the centre pulley and into the slot, make sure the cable is over the corner pulley, pull on the cables and let the 6" nail or pin drop out.
